“MAKING ROAD TRANSPORT SAFER FOR CHILDREN”

Every day more than 500 children lose their lives in traffic crashes in the world. Thousands are injured.
 
The United Nations dedicates the Third UN Global Road Safety Week, 4th to 10th May 2015, to the theme “Children and Road Safety”. During this week, governments, international agencies, civil society organisations, private companies - all of us who travel the world's roads - are encouraged to plan and hostevents to raise our concerns and show our care.
